Massey Ferguson's enthusiasm for Ireland's premier annual farming event will be plain for all to see this year, as a comprehensive range of machines, expertise and hospitality will be brought to the attention of equally keen visitors.
The show's spotlight will be focussed on an impressive newcomer to the all-important 80-130hp tractor category – the MF 5700 Global. Two versions are just now available – 100hp and 110hp – which have been designed to deliver the most spacious cab in the sector, with air-conditioning and the highest specification in their class.
The MF 5700 Global Series is certain to appeal to smaller-to-medium-sized livestock, dairy and mixed farms, where it will take a whole host of tasks in its easy stride. The new 12x12 gearbox takes its place behind the 4.4-litre, 4-cylinder AGCO Power engine to form a smoothly efficient power train.
Among other crowd pullers in the Massey Ferguson area will be the new MF TH.6030 telehandler. This versatile machine handles, silage, muck, bales, fertiliser bags, moves feed and cleans out stock housing, while the array of implements available includes a bale spike, bale squeeze handler, pallet fork and bucket.
With three steering modes and great manoeuvrability in tight corners, the MF TH.6030 – one of four models in the MF telehandler line-up – provides a lift height of 6.0m, 3000kg lift capacity, hydrostatic transmission and oil flow of 100L/min.
Also available for a close-up look at the IPC, the new MF FL Loader can be tailored precisely to each user's needs. There are 20 variations, designed to fit Massey Ferguson tractors ranging from 70hp, right up to 400hp.
They can be specified with either linear or parallel linkage and there is a wide range of additional options and accessories for a truly bespoke implement to precisely meet every farm's individual needs. With lift capacities ranging from 1540kg to 3270kg and 30 per cent improved visibility, the new FL loaders are 50 per cent more durable, have a lift height range of 3.55m to 4.96m. Several ranges of tractors in the MF portfolio have an optional Visioline roof providing outstanding upward visibility.
Assuming that you can prise yourself away from the machines, you will discover that Massey Ferguson is extending its support of the Irish farming community by playing a large part on the Macra na Fierme stand this year. As Platinum sponsor of Macra na Fierme, Massey Ferguson is working alongside young farmers to promote farm safety with machinery safety competitions and working demonstrations in the Macra arena with a chance to win a coveted prize this year.
Other attractions will include a chance to win a famous MF Croke Park jersey, together with the very special announcement about the new MF ambassador for Ireland and collaboration with a chosen charity.
Don't miss it!
