Engines – now with more power output
* Complying with the most stringent emissions legislation Perkins and SisuDiesel engines ensure that more power and even higher torque are matched perfectly to the job.
* All models now feature the all-new SisuDiesel or Perkins Tier III engines with common rail injection and four valves/cylinder and electronic control – for increased power and torque characteristics. On all MF 7400 series models extra power is available at 2000 revs compared to rated engine speed (2200 revs) thereby ensuring excellent PTO performance and reducing engine noise.
* The common rail injection system uses an Electronic Control Unit to regulate and optimise the injection pressure to match every individual operating condition and load
* Cooling package on new engines has been completely redesigned to provide greater surface area – gives better cooling capacity and easier maintenance. Now features new pivoting radiators for even better cleaning access
* Engine Speed Management system – enables two engine speeds to be pre-set and memorised for more convenient operation.
