Massey Ferguson Distribution strengthened in Central Scotland

AGCO is further strengthening Sales, Customer Service and Support for Massey Ferguson in Scotland’s central belt following the formation of a new company by its Dealer franchise holders, Hamilton Ross Group and G Reekie Group Ltd.

“The establishment of the new company – Reekie Ltd – as part of the Hamilton Ross Group sees the consolidation of two very experienced, high-performing dealers which will strengthen the future of the business and boost the distribution and support in this important farming area,” says Mark Casement, AGCO Director Distribution Management UK and Ireland.

Reekie Ltd will trade through branches in Cupar and Perth. Hamilton Ross already trades through Hamilton Bros (Engineering) Ltd, which has depots in Bishopton, Tarbolton and Campbeltown, and also operates through Daniel Ross Engineers Ltd based in Lanark.

“AGCO is investing significantly in the development of its distribution network as part of a dynamic long-term strategy to reinforce our customer service, offer full-line product ranges and ensure an increased availability of exclusive Brand expertise in our distribution outlets,” Mark explains. “The formation of Reekie Ltd provides key opportunities to drive strong growth in the region.”

Both Reekie Ltd depots will provide full customer after-sales support including parts and service for Massey Ferguson. The Perth branch will become the dedicated sales focus for Massey Ferguson farm machinery.
